Sales & Marketing Associate

PADT is seeking an outgoing self-starter with a sense of humor who likes variety in their workday, interacting with people, and is detail oriented.  The company’s growing Computer Aided Engineer Sales, Support & Services team needs and associate to assist the sales, admin and marketing teams in increasing business and making interactions with our customers more efficient.  This position is a combination of three positions:  1) coordinating and conducting marketing efforts for the CAE group, 2) conducting inside sales and lead processing tasks, and 3) handling the sales processing and administrative tasks for one or more of the product lines that PADT resells. 
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and have some experience in sales, marketing and business administration tasks.  They must have an outgoing personality and be able to take their job very seriously, but not themselves.  Flexibility and the ability to multi-task are a must in that this position fills three very different roles within the department. Another requirement is the ability to conduct significant cold calls to find or follow sales leads.  Having some artistic capabilities as far as graphic arts and writing would be a plus.
This department within PADT sells, supports, and provides services with high end computer simulation software and 3D prototyping hardware.  The team consists of engineers, salespeople and business operations people who need an associate that will assist them in being more efficient and more productive. 
Typical tasks for this position would be:

1. Marketing
1. Scheduling and coordinating events at PADT’s office and at remote facilities
2. Editing and maintaining PADT’s e-Newsletters and announcements
3. Conducting mailing campaigns
4. Coordinating press releases
5. Maintaining PADT’s social media presence
6. Assisting in keeping various PADT websites up to date and fresh with new content
7. Managing printed marketing materials
8. Calling potential attendees for marketing events
2. Inside Sales
1. Doing research on prospective customers
2. Cold calling prospective customers to determine if their needs align with PADT’s services or products
3. Gather information for and update combined company sales forecast
3. Business Operations
1. Conduct invoicing, product ordering, inventory control, and order processing for one of the product lines that PADT resells
2. Manage maintenance contracts for a product line including quoting and encouraging maintenance renewals.
3. Assist other Business Operations people at PADT with their tasks as needed and serve as a backup when they are out.

 

Tempe Arizona engineering services company is seeking an experienced engineer with Medical Device experience to enhance our growing medical device R&D team.   The position offers a competitive salary and challenging projects with a flexible and positive work environment.

Duties will include:
• Designing minimally invasive medical devices
• Solving difficult and challenging engineering problems
• Designing and conducting lab tests
• Interfacing with customers and vendors
• Serve as mentor to team members with less medical device experience

Applicants MUST have the following skills:
• Direct experience designing and developing minimally invasive medical devices (laparoscopic, endoscope and catheter based surgical instruments, implants and diagnostic devices)
• Have contacts in medical device vendor base
• Experience translating customer requirements to engineering specifications and design inputs
• Comfortable working with contract manufacturers to ensure part quality and quality compliance
Applicants SHOULD posses the majority of the following skills:
• Ability to formulate clever mechanical design solutions to difficult challenges
• Familiarity with materials and manufacturing  methods used in the medical device industry
• 3D CAD Experience
• Experience creating component specifications, detailed drawings and using GD&T
• Experience using spreadsheets and other tools to solve basic engineering problems.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Familiarity with electromechanical sensors and test equipment
• Experience preparing test specifications and in training technicians to execute test plans
• Ability to interpret test data and formulating and documenting conclusions
• Experience developing products under FDA compliant QMS.
• Understanding of FDA quality system regulations and regulatory submission process
• Comfortable working as part of fast-paced product development team. 
• High energy level with a desire to always learn more.
• Good at multi-tasking and juggling multiple projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
