ANSYS Users Conference 2000
September 5, 2000

The 2000 User’s Conference in Pittsburgh was a special event for PADT in many ways. Among other things, it was:

  • The first international ANSYS event that PADT attended as a full ASD
  • The first show for Version 1 of AnsPak
  • The introduction of FlutterLink for ANSYS
  • The announcement of AnsCMS: a Component Mode Synthesis tool for ANSYS
  • A chance to let our ANSYS customers know about the other services that PADT offers.
  • An opportunity to present PADT’s “Analysis Driven Design” as a technical paper

It was also an opportunity to put faces with voices and e-mail of many people we have been communicating with over the years. One of the best things about this conference was that we got a chance to meet with ANSYS developers and product managers who have been so helpful and informative over the years.

Eric, Carlos, and Mark demonstate a serious lack of yo-yo skills during a quiet time.
