New Developments at PADT
October 1, 2001
The past three months have been especially busy at PADT, and our web
page has slipped behind again. As usual, no news has been good news, and
PADT is proud to announce the following developments:
PADT adds SINDA/G to its offering of software solutions.
Network Analysis
and PADT have signed an agreement that allows us to distribute the SINDA/G
product family in North America to new customers. PADT will be leveraging
our expertise in customization, Finite Element Analysis, and customer-driven
technical sales to deliver significant values to customers. For more
information about the SINDA/G product, visit our Products
area or see the press release.
Systems R&D adds Electrical Engineering Capability.
In order to support its own internal projects, PADT has recently added
resources necessary to conduct electrical
engineering tasks to support system design and integration. This
capability is focused on the design and manufacture of custom electronic
devices including data acquisition devices, motor controllers, process
controllers, motion controllers, and other electronic devices that are
required to support mechanical systems.
PADT Enhances Existing Software Development Capability.
A key part of PADT has always been the development of custom software.
This capability has grown to the point where it is now offered as a
separate service to customers. Most of PADT's software projects have
revolved around customization and enhancements to existing CAE tools
using a variety of programming tools. Included among these are C, C++,
JScript, FORTRAN, Tcl/Tk, MATLAB, and Visual Basic.
