PADT Expands Inspection Capability

To better meet customer requirements, PADT has upgraded its inspection capabilities to include a full inspection facility. This upgrade includes the acquisition of a granite measurement table, a variety of standard digital and analog gages, “V-Blocks”, and various calipers and micrometers. It also includes the creation of a separate inspection facility that is in a clean zone with a relatively stable climate.

The hardware is being backed up with the establishment of documented inspection procedures that are part of PADT’s new Quality Assurance Program. This new capability will allow PADT to deliver more accurate parts in less time to its customers and to provide faster turn-around for internal projects.
