PADT Receives New Patent for Unirotor Technology

We are very proud to announce the award of U.S. Patent 6,589,033 to PADT for our “Unitary Sliding Vane Compressor-Expander and Electrical Generation System”. PADT uses this unique technology in our Unirotor brand of compressor-expanders. This highly efficient configuration allows a compressor and a turbine to be packaged in a single compact and robust package. It has been described by one Fuel Cell manufacturer as an “enabling technology” for many fuel cell applications. Congratulations go out to PADT’s development team for thinking out of the envelope!
