Ward Rand of PADT, Inc. is included in the ringing of the opening bell on NASDAQ

Everyone at PADT, Inc. is proud to announce that one of our own participated in the virtual ringing of the opening bell at the NASDAQ. Today was the 10th anniversary of ANSYS, Inc.'s listing on NASDAQ (ANSS). To celebrate the CEO of ANSYS, Inc. rang the bell (virtual bell). Ward Rand, the PADT owner responsible for CAE Sales, was one of the guests invited to attend the opening ceremony .

Ward is in New York to accept the prestigious Presidents Club award for ANSYS, Inc. This award is presented to the top channel partners for sales of the ANSYS, Inc. suite of products and was earned by PADT in recognition of an outstanding performance by everyone involved in CAE sales at the company in 2005.

PADT was founded in 1994 as a mechanical engineering services company, providing finite element analysis services using ANSYS as well as rapid prototyping services. Twelve years later, PADT employs close to 50 people and has expertise in ANSYS software, sales, support, and training. Other specialties include rapid prototyping ( SLA, SLS, FDM, epoxy modeling), engineering services and outsourcing, and systems R&D (including fuel cell development and manufacturing, medical equipment design and prototyping, and turnkey solutions for semiconductor equipment).
