Analysis & Simulation ServicesMechanical analysis and simulation is a challenging but rewarding area. Using the finite element method, and related numerical methods, engineers can create virtual representations of components and systems that simulate real world behavior under a variety of loads and constraints. The results produced by these simulations can then be used to aid in the design process, or to resolve an existing performance or reliability problem. One of PADTs specialties is multi-physics analysis. In this type of simulation, the effects of several different disciplines that interact with one another are modeled. An example would be fluid flow and heat transfer, or magnetics and stress. PADT has also earned a reputation for conducting complex large deflection, time-dependent studies of impact events.
