The Focus
A periodic publication for the general ANSYS user that provides a wealth of technical information on ANSYS and its uses. The goal of the feature articles is to inform users of the capabilities ANSYS has to offer, and to provide users with helpful tips and hints for using these products more effectively.PADT Seminar Series
These seminars are oriented towards potential users and their mangers. The focus is on communicating technical capabilities and benefits. They are not “sales pitches” or “demos”. The presentations are lead by an experienced PADT engineer who will discuss the capabilities of the tool in question as well as real world applications for it. When appropriate, there will be time for attendees to get some hands-on experience with the program, or at least see a realistic demonstration of its usage.Snippets
PADT is pleased to present the ANSYS User Community with a monthly newsletter with information and observations on ANSYS, Inc. related topics. Unlike its sister publication The Focus, Snippets is a non-technical publication, oriented towards users and their managers with a goal of passing on critical information that everyone involved in the ANSYS community should have. It is free, does not contain advertisements, and is issued about once a month. Snippets used to be called The SWAU Report and started life as the newsletter for the South West ANSYS Users Group. Over time the readership has grown to include all corners of the globe and so PADT decided to refocus on serving the broader user community. Previous SWAU issues can still be found in the archive, along with all Snippets issues.
