Real world engineering problems oftentimes include the effect of several different simulation disciplines. Analysts can capture the interaction of these disciplines, or physics, through the use of the ANSYS/Mutliphysics package. Every day, more people use this tool to study structural-thermal-fluid-electromagnetic-electrostatic and related behavior in a single environment. This seminar will cover the use of ANSYS for multiphysics simulation. We will discuss what ANSYS is capable of doing, when multiphysics simulation is required, some basics on how to use the tool, and examples of many different applications. The focus will be on the new Fluid-Structure interaction capability in ANSYS, as well as Coupled Field analysis. The presentation will be informal and technically-oriented. Lunch will be served during the presentation.
