The PADT Seminar Series Presents:

ANSYS Environment & ANSYS NASTRAN

Do you build complex and difficult FE models? Are you upset about how much you are paying for your NASTRAN Seats?

In this seminar, PADT will introduce two new products from ANSYS, Inc. that deliver on your needs for high-end solver independent pre-processing and an affordable NASTRAN solution: AI*Environment and AI*NASTRAN.

AI*Environment is a solver-neutral pre-processor based on ICEM CFD technology that offers significant benefits to the Power User:

  • Robust creation of mid-plane from 3D solids that are ideal for shell models
  • Associative connection to CAD geometry eliminating the need to rebuild your FE model when the geometry changes
  • Tools that allow users to repair and smooth models to get better meshes in critical areas
  • Easy to learn and use due to a new intuitive Graphical User Interface.
  • Much more

AI*NASTRAN is a new version of the NASTRAN solver brought to you by two FE pioneers: Harry Schaefer and Richard McNeal (yes, the McNeal in McNeal-Schwendler Corporation, or MSC). It also has the user community excited about its benefits:

  • Most common NASTRAN functions at a fraction of the cost of the Competition's offering
  • Robust sub-modeling for large problems
  • The power of the DMAP matrix manipulation language

As with all of PADT's seminars, this one will focus on the technical benefits of the tools and how you can use them to be more effective in your day-to-day real world analysis tasks.

Any analyst or engineering manager should attend who has a need for a powerful solution for general pre-processing or who is spending too much of their budget on their NASTRAN solution.
