The PADT Seminar Series Presents:

ANSYS Material Nonlinearities

Material nonlinear analysis is one of the largest and most powerful parts of the ANSYS program. However, many users are unaware of the breadth and depth of capability available and some of the recent improvements made to ANSYS nonlinear capabilities.

This seminar will be a technical overview of what is available, new enhancements, and advice on using the strength of ANSYS to simulate real world nonlinear materials. An emphasis will be placed on getting accurate and timely answers to complex problems.

Topics will include:

  • Using the new 18x elements to increase accuracy, apply more realistic material models, and speed up solutions
  • Combining different nonlinear material models for more realistic and efficient solutions
  • The significant improvements to speed and capability on viscoelasticity, viscoplasticity, hyperelasticity, and creep
  • Easily modeling unique and unusual materials with user subroutines
  • Getting good material data for better accuracy and reduced run-times

Anyone who conducts non-linear analysis, works with materials or systems that experience non-linear behavior, or anyone who wants to increase their productivity with these tools should attend.
