Meshing Update: Power Meshing with ANSYS, Inc. Products

It has been a little over two years since we held our most popular SWAU Seminar: Power Meshing with ANSYS Products. In those two years the developers at ANSYS, Inc. have been busy giving users even more options for meshing geometry. In this months seminar we will do an update on Meshing. We will cover the power meshing options of the past as well as discuss all of the new power tools added since then.

The agenda will include:

  • Thoughts on Meshing
  • The Unified Meshing Initiative
  • Types of Meshing
  • ANSYS Meshing
  • Workbench Meshing
  • Power Meshing in Workbench
  • Shell/Beam Meshing in Workbench
  • FE Modeler
  • CFX Meshing
  • Harvard Thermal Meshers
  • Mixing Mesh Types
  • Modifying Meshes
