— PADT Seminar Series Presents —
New Dynamic Analysis Capabilities: CMS, Rotor Dynamics and Other Enhancements

While everyone is focused on the acquisition of CFD Companies, improvements to Multiphysics or the ongoing growth of Workbench capability, a quiet revolution has been occurring with little notice or fanfare. The developers have been adding significant new dynamic analysis capabilities to the core ANSYS product. Our next free seminar will review the most recent enhancements and talk about what is coming before the end of the year.

Attendees should be users or managers who are involved in any type of vibration analysis, especially those that continue to use other software and are unaware of ANSYS’s strengths in this area. We will focus on discussing capabilities and applications and provide small test cases or tutorials for each capability covered.

The proposed agenda is:

  • Very short Review of all ANSYS Dynamics Capabilities
  • Component Mode Synthesis
  • Rotor Dynamics
  • Accurate Stresses in PSD
  • PSD in Workbench
  • Solver Changes for Dynamics
  • Flexible Body Dynamics
  • Other Enhancements

As always we invite participants to add their experience and expertise to the discussion. If you can’t come to Tempe, feel free to let us know you will be attending through WebEx.
