Seminar: A Guided Tour of Workbench 2.0

PADT is following up the very successful return of our Seminar Series with an in-depth look at the new Workbench 2.0 (WB2) infrastructure that was released with ANSYS R12. 

In this seminar we will take an very technical and real world look at the new WB2 native applications, how older applications can use WB2 to share data, and talk about the ways WB2 can deliver some significant productivity improvements.

This seminar will involve live demos as well as slides.  And PADT's staff will be on hand to answer questions and offer suggestions based upon what we have learned about this new direction that ANSYS, Inc. software is taking.  And as usual, we will have a bit of fun and some lunch.
Based upon feedback from the last seminar, we will have someone monitoring the chat for the web participants so that we don't miss any of their questions.

The Proposed Agenda is:

• Discussion on what WB2 is and what it is not 
• How non WB2 applications interact with WB2 applications
• Exploring the Project Schematic
• Engineering Data and Managing material properties
• Parameter Management
• Optimization with DesignXplorer
• Tips & Hints on how to get up to speed fast and benefit the most from WB2
• Future Directions

Attendees should be existing or perspective users of any ANSYS, Inc product.  CFD, FEA or EMAG because in a few years all of these tools will be working under WB2.  The format is informal and features a free lunch (sandwiches or wraps this time).
