Meshing may be the most important step in any simulation process and for many users it is the most time consuming and labor intensive step.  That makes meshing an essential tool for every user to have a clear understanding of what ANSYS, Inc. has to offer in this area.  So during this seminar, we will take an detailed technical look at those options.

The Proposed Agenda is:

  • Introduction
  • Fundamentals of Meshing: Algorithms, Processes and Terms
  • Options for Repairing Geometry for Meshing
  • Meshing In Workbench for Mechanical Solvers
  • Meshing in Workbench for CFD Solvers
  • Leveraging FE Modeler
  • Power Meshing with ICEM CFD
  • Review of ANSYS Mechanical APDL Meshing
  • Questions and Answers

The webinar will focus on making sure all users are aware of the tools available, and will also share some tips and tricks that PADT and our customers have learned over the years.  The emphasis will be on helping you improve mesh quality and reducing the time needed to get a good mesh.

We expect the presentation to take about 75 minutes, and are leaving 15 minutes open at the end for questions and discussions.

This is a web only event, so you just need to register and we will send you the connection information.
