Description
Pedal is a Windows text editor for ANSYS APDL scripts. It integrates with the ANSYS help system to provide instantaneous help on any one of the 1000s of ANSYS commands. Pedal was written by Matt Sutton, an Engineer at PADT, to make his own job easier. Matt has years of experience writing APDL scripts and has long wished for a tool that would provide help for a given command right at his fingertips. Check out the list of other features below. Pedal is licensed on a per user basis. You can install Pedal on multiple machines, but the license agreement restricts the use of Pedal to one active user at a time. Purchasing a license of Pedal entitles the licensee to receive free upgrades for all minor releases of Pedal. Major releases of Pedal include planned features that add substantial capabilities to the code, beyond minor bug fixes and small feature enhancements.
