The PADT staff utilizes its real world engineering experience to handle complete start-to-finish design, fabrication, and testing projects. The projects usually involve pumps, turbines, batteries, fuel cells, satellite systems, experimental payloads, or ground stations. Both NASA and the U.S. Army have awarded contracts to PADT in these key areas. PADT has also developed custom pumping systems for customers, as well as  gas processing systems.
