On June 2nd, the Cleantech Open announced the 100 cleantech companies accepted into their 2023 accelerator program. The Cleantech Open is the world’s largest and longest-running cleantech business accelerator. Founded in 2005, they have worked with over 1,800 early-stage innovators in the cleantech space to help them improve their business models, contact investors, and secure their first customers.
This year’s companies come from all around the country and with a few teams from Europe and India. Some of the categories include energy generation, advanced materials, water & waste, green buildings, energy distribution and storage, efficiency, green building, and transportation.
PADT is proud to have a long history with the Cleantech Open, starting in 2012, and especially the Rocky Mountain Region. In past years we have judged, sponsored, offered technical advice, and mentored. This year, PADT is signed up to mentor for our fourth time, working with Hawk Spider Energy Corp. from Albuquerque.
The other company representing the Rocky Mountain Region Companies is Maelstrom Water Technologies.
