A type of material extrusion (MEX) additive manufacturing where a continuous filament of thermoplastic material containing metal powder is fed into a heated extruder and deposited on the current build layer. A green part is created that is then sintered to remove the thermoplastic and then shrink the part to a fully dense metal part. It is a type of fused filament fabrication (FFF).
