A material jetting additive manufacturing process where nanoparticles of the desired final material are suspended in a liquid that is also a bonding agent. The nanoparticle-containing liquid is deposited with inkjet printheads onto the build layer in a heated bed. The temperature is high enough for the liquid to evaporate most of the liquid upon deposition and also bond the nanoparticles. This process is repeated for each layer. The final part is then washed to remove any remaining bonding liquid, producing a green part that can then be sintered.

Abbreviated as NPJ.
