A family of polymers made of organic molecules joined by carbamate (urethane) links. Polyurethane is widely used and the properties are determined by the manufacturing process and additives.
In additive manufacturing, many polyurethane materials are available in filament, powder, and photopolymer forms. It is a popular material because it can be made both soft and rigid, has excellent mechanical properties, and is chemically resistant.
