Nylon CF10

Carbon fiber filled 10%

FDM Nylon-CF10 is a nylon carbon fiber filament. The base polymer is filled 10% by weight with chopped carbon, which produces a composite material with much higher strength than the nylon base material.

This makes it an excellent choice for 3D printed work-holding fixtures that can be made lighter and faster than traditional metal fixtures, but with sufficient strength.

Key Attributes:

  • Very good stiffness and strength, being 67% stronger and 190% stiffer than the nylon base blend material.
  • Excellent durability characteristics with good abrasion resistance.
  • Resistant to many chemicals including those found in manufacturing environments
  • Printed parts exhibit a smooth, matte finish.
