Accounting Specialist


Location: Tempe, AZ


PADT is currently seeking a part-time (20-29 hours per week) Accounting Specialist to join the accounting team in Tempe, AZ. This position is temporary for the first 90 days with the expectation of becoming permanent at the end of that period.

The Accounting Specialist applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information, prepare reports and provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting and account reconciliation by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
  • Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.
  • Prepares A/R reports on a weekly basis.
  • Processes payables on a weekly basis.
  • Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
  • Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
  • Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Installs, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
  • Conducts studies and submits recommendations for improving the organization's accounting operation.
  • Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state, and local reports and sales tax returns.

Executive Assistant

PADT is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to join our team in Tempe, AZ.
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to company Principals and serves as the primary gatekeeper for them. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, minimizing unplanned interruptions, managing schedules, prioritizing, and categorizing tasks to allow the Principals to focus on strategic activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with respect to Principal, Company and employee information, finances, correspondence and any other sensitive information related to PADT or the Principals.
  • Develop, implement and maintain systems and processes to manage Principals’ time
  • Manage calendars and independently schedule appointments on behalf of Principals
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence and respond independently when possible
  • Welcome guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the phone, answering or directing inquiries
  • Prepare emails outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to managers and monitor compliance

The Account Manager is responsible for all ANSYS software sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory or set of accounts, and is responsible for maximizing sales profitability, growth and account penetration. Products and services are sold directly to end users primarily via face-to-face contact by performing the following duties.

  • Perform all sales activities for new and renewed business in an assigned geographic area
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in order to generate new business for the organization
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers, meet with them at PADT or, speak with them by phone to solicit sales

Application Engineer, Low Frequency Electromagnetics

PADT is currently seeking an Application Engineer for ANSYS Simulation Software in its Torrance, CA office.

Summary:

The Application Engineer provides technical expertise for ANSYS simulation software in support of PADT's sales team through strategic pre-sales and technical scoping activities utilizing proven domain expertise, problem solving, demonstrating and presenting to customers by performing the following duties.

  • Presenting PADT's expertise and capabilities to prospects and customers and helping to grow relationships
  • Conducting in-person and web-conference discovery meetings with customers
  • Defining customer requirement specifications, and discussing software capability
  • Assisting in the development and generation of formal sales proposals to ensure technical accuracy
  • Perform benchmarking with ANSYS tools as needed and collect various performance and accuracy metrics
  • Coordinating and delivering sales collateral, presentation project plans, process flow, provision specifications, and service level definitions
  • Creating detailed implementation plans inclusive of sales strategy by addressing schemes, service level agreements, and network validation and testing procedures
  • Providing expert advice on application of ANSYS to specific use cases

Inside Sales Representative, 3D Printer Sales

PADT is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative for its 3D Printer Sales Group. The Inside Sales Representative assists in identifying sales opportunities and moving prospects through the sales process via cold calling and/or emailing. Includes, communicating with existing customers to uncover any current or future sales opportunities, diligently entering accurate notes into the Contact and Record Management (CRM) systems, and maintaining assigned monthly and quarterly goals to ensure partner and customer satisfaction by performing the following duties.
