Account Manager: Ansys Simulation Software


Location: Los Angeles, CA & Denver, CO


PADT, Inc. is hiring seasoned, successful sales professionals with experience selling complex engineering software. Incumbents must have a passion for software simulation of advanced technology as well as a desire to work in a creative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close, in an assigned territory or set of accounts. In this position, Account Managers are responsible for maximizing sales profitability, growth and account penetration. The role sells products and services directly to end users primarily via face-to-face contact.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or Bachelor's degree with technical sales experience 
  • At least 3 years' sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated understanding of engineering analysis and technology
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Currently resides in one of the locations listed above, or have the ability to relocate

Account Manager, 3D Printing Technologies


Location: Phoenix, AZ or Albuquerque, NM


PADT, a leader in 3D printing and Additive  Manufacturing for the last 20+ years, has an immediate opening for a full-time Account Manager in Arizona or, New Mexico. 

We are seeking a motivated, experienced B2B  relationship sales professional that enjoys doing the grunt work to fill their  pipeline, and knows how to close large deals for capital equipment in the $30k  to $500k range.

PADT resells the full line of Stratasys products and  accessories, offering customers a complete solution for their 3D Printing and  Additive Manufacturing needs.

This position involves travel to customer sites, trade shows and a significant amount of cold-calling.  Compensation includes; base salary, commission, car allowance and benefits.


Position Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of successful field sales experience selling technology to businessess
  • Ability to effectively balance time between cold-calling, managing prospects and closing deals
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to listen and understand the customer's needs
  • Ability to connect with existing customers, assist in growing their use of technology, and adding systems
  • Ability to understand and follow an established sales process and tracking sales objectives
  • Must be proactive and asertive while knowing when to stop
  • Able to understand and explain technology to others
  • Good at working with technical support engineers through the entire sales process
  • Willing and able to keep aCRM system up-to-date through the entire sales process
  • Success working as the only sales representative in a territory and reporting back to a home office in a different state

Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manger develops, negotiates, and manages relationships with customers in order to sell PADT’s engineering service offerings including; project management, consulting, product and medical device development, and simulation services by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

  • Develop business and sell Engineering Services including; project management, consulting, and product development of new products, medical devices and simulation services.
  • Seek out and research prospective clients through making phone calls, traveling, attending conferences, and utilizing the Internet.
  • Work diligently and efficiently to bring in sales, close business and meet revenue goals.
  • Maintain ongoing sales forecasts and a robust pipeline.
  • Meet with customers to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Collaborate with PADT’s engineers to develop quality proposals and present to customers.
  • Negotiate deals, develop contracts, conduct due diligence, and other business development or alliance development.
  • Manage relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Onboard new customers by negotiating non-disclosure agreements, terms & conditions and credit terms.
  • Collaborate with internal resources, such as marketing, sales, and engineering, partners and allies in the development and implementation of sales strategies and plans.
  • Provide information to management on market, industry and customer needs in order to meet current and future customer demands.
  • Provide input to marketing for the development of advertising, promotions, special sales, and collateral.
