Oct. 13, 2010 – PRLog — PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix Analysis & Design Technologies, Inc. (PADT, Inc.), the Southwest’s largest provider of mechanical simulation, product development, and rapid prototyping services and products, is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of their Colorado office. Located in historic downtown Littleton at 4539 S. Prince Street, the new location will initially serve as the local sales office to better support customers in Colorado.

To celebrate this event, PADT will be hosting an Open House on Tuesday, October 19th from 1:30 till 6:00 pm.  The day will begin with a visit by officials from the City of Littleton at 1:30 pm to welcome PADT to their city.  The event will then conclude at 4:00 pm when the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce will welcome PADT to the metro area with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The state of Colorado in general and the Front Range area in particular, are key areas of growth for PADT’s sales and services.  Ward Rand, Director of CAE Sales and Services explained the move as “an important step in our overall growth plan.  In the past we have had salespeople and engineers working from their home or flying in from Phoenix. We now feel that our business in this area has grown to the point where we need a permanent brick-and-mortar presence to fully service the needs of Coloradan companies that take advantage of the technologies that we offer. ”

The sales effort at PADT – Colorado will focus on distributing two products lines:  The first is the complete suite of simulation software from ANSYS, Inc. (ANSS) (http://www.ANSYS.com). These tools are used by companies around the world to simulate products before testing, resulting in better performance for less cost and in less time.  The second line of products is the 3D Printer and Direct Digital Manufacturing systems from Stratasys, Inc. (SSYS) (http://www.STRATASYS.com).  These machines are used by engineers, educators, artists, artisans, and inventors to directly create plastic parts from a computer model without machining or molding.  Both ANSYS, Inc. and Stratasys, Inc. are the world leaders in their respective markets, and PADT is proud to be one of their reselling partners for Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.

Additionally, the office will serve as a place for PADT’s technical staff to work together at a single location, providing simulation consulting, training and technical support.  The company will also use this facility to meet with local customers in the renewable energy and medical product development industry; areas where PADT has specific expertise.  The location provides sufficient meeting space for seminars, training classes and other events designed to expand PADT’s local presence.

PADT is honored to be welcomed by both the City of Littleton and the South Denver Chamber of Commerce (SMDCC). Norman Stucker, PADT’s General Manager for Colorado expressed his excitement at such a warm welcome.  Stucker has been involved in the Denver area business community for over a decade and strongly recommended that PADT put roots down in the area.   “Littleton provides a central location to all of the Front Range. The city and the SMDCC support small, mid-sized and large technical companies that could benefit from the products PADT provides. When we found an office that was the right size with existing amenities important to our customers, we knew we had found a home.  We will start with our sales efforts and then quickly build our customer base for simulation consulting, product development, and rapid prototyping as more people get to know us as a valuable resource to the Colorado engineering community.”

Anyone interested in attending the Open House or either of the two ceremonies should contact Jennifer Ayres at jen.ayres@padtinc.com or 480.813.4884.  For general information about PADT, our products or our services, contact Norman Stucker at norman.stucker@padtinc.com or 720.287.2192.

Since its inception in 1994, PADT has focused on providing world class mechanical engineering consulting as well as sales and support of leading mechanical engineering hardware and software tools from ANSYS, Inc. and Stratasys, Inc. With over 55 employees, PADT services customers from its headquarters at the Arizona State University Research Park in Tempe, Arizona, their Littleton, Colorado office, and through staff members located around the country.
